The exotic material is usually reserved for high-end exotics, but like BMW is democratizing its use in the new i3, so too is Honda researching ways to implement the use of carbon fiber on a mass scale. This one-of-a-kind CR-Z prototype stands, for the time being, as the embodiment of that effort.
Driving Notes. Here's a vehicle that nobody saw coming. Details on the disguised minivan are rather scarce, but it certainly bares all the hallmarks of an Acura. The front grille alone gives it away with a look that mimics the latest MDX, and note that the orientation of the rear door handle heavily suggests that it slides to open.
Moving inside, the tester appears to borrow some tech from the luxury brand's parts bin too, and the Acura logo seems to be covered in tape right in the middle of the steering wheel. Mechanically, our spies believe that the production version of Acura's minivan might borrow the brand's V6, nine-speed automatic and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive - a similar layout to some trims of the TLX.
The photographers also think that the vehicle is a little wider than the current Honda Odyssey to give occupants a bit more room. Given the more luxurious focus, the high-end model would surely carry seven people with a bit more opulence than the standard Odyssey, especially, we'd imagine, for second-row passengers.

Car Make: Honda. Was primered several years ago - will need reprimered after being installed. Headlights are brand new Nissan OEM - one had a signal lense move inside light housing during shipping from Japan. At the price I'm listing this for I can't afford much hassle with it. I wish I had the time to finish the car, but with young kids it justwon't happen. Overall the car is very solid and once completed with the body kit will make a nice show car with Honda Civic reliability and fueleconomy forlittle money.
Would make a great gift for a younger driver as it is a 1. I am somewhat negotiable with the price - however it is worth more than my asking price in parts alone. Thank you!
